Electrical and communication systems
Power from the high-voltage intake to the final circuits, and the communication, control, safety and sound systems that run on it.
Power, control and communication from one division
SECCO's electrical division is made up of electrical engineers and technicians who handle installation contracting, design assist, turnkey services and system upgrades. Our work covers commercial buildings, hotels, condominiums and industrial projects.
The ASEAN Federation of Electrical Engineering Contractors (AFEEC) gave SECCO its Best Electrical Contractor Award in 2010, and again in 2013 in the commercial category. Substations and high-voltage lines are also the specialism of our subsidiary SECCO HV; see high voltage and utilities.

How power reaches each floor
A typical building supply runs from the utility's medium-voltage intake through switchgear and transformers to the main distribution board and the floor boards, with a standby supply for essential loads. Every stage from the medium-voltage switchgear onwards is within SECCO's electrical scope.
Installed in sequence, tested before handover
Electrical rooms are set out for clearance and service space, and panels go in a sequence that follows the connected load. After termination, panels are function-tested and operation-tested. For data centres, they are then integration-tested with the standby generators.
Control and low-current systems follow the same pattern. For building automation, CCTV and access control we confirm every point, design the cabling layout, install and terminate, set addresses, then run field-device command tests, software point tests, operation tests and integration tests.
Every installation follows a SECCO method statement, and our QA/QC system checks the work before it is handed to the consultant.
Testing and commissioning
Electrician licensing and skill testing
Thai law requires electricians to be licensed. SECCO has a certified body, certified by TEMCA and the Ministry of Labour, to license electricians and air-conditioning technicians.
The SECCO Training Center is the SECCO branch of TEMCA's national skill-standard testing centre under the Department of Skill Development. It trains and tests building electricians at level 1 and holds level 2 electrician skill tests. SECCO also trains its own staff in disciplines such as BIM, AutoCAD, engineering and construction.
