Utilities and infrastructure

We build the infrastructure that feeds a building, from substations, high-voltage lines and underground duct banks to district cooling and rooftop solar.

Utility infrastructure, from the grid to the roof

SECCO's utilities scope covers conventional and GIS substations, transmission and distribution stations up to 145 kV, and aerial and underground lines.

The group also has a specialist company, SECCO HV Co., Ltd., which focuses on high-voltage and infrastructure projects. SECCO's own electrical scope also includes substation construction, HV transmission lines and underground systems.

Behind the substation the scope continues with duct banks, manholes and handholes, cable splicing and HV terminations, fibre-optic links and the civil works for substation buildings. Our utilities scope also covers power plants, waste-water treatment plants, oil and gas infrastructure and telecommunication.

District cooling and rooftop solar complete the picture: district cooling systems and ice-bank storage are part of our HVAC work, and our rooftop solar scope runs from PV modules and roof mounting structures to DC cabling, inverters, earthing and lightning protection.
